Sanford Health often needs added support for special projects and event planning for a variety of small and large-scale tasks throughout its region-wide health system. Sanford contracts with Reach Partners, Inc. to manage many of the projects that need extra support. Reach Partners is familiar with tight deadlines and attention to detail.
“If I say I’m going to get it done, I’m going to get it done,” says Anita Hoffarth, Reach Partners, Inc. “One of the benefits of Reach Partners is to be connected to subcontractors that can help make a project happen within a short deadline.” Project management and coordination of events include the Same Day Surgery Center employee open house and VIP community event, assisted in planning retirement celebrations for the hospital’s CEO and coordinating a one-day healthcare summit that involved bringing in two national speakers. Reach Partners also handled many special projects for Sanford Health. Projects included coordinating an event at a Fargo Force hockey game and serving as marketing contacts for Sanford events. Reach Partners also helped rollout a marketing plan for 21 clinics, which involved 60 separate marketing pieces such as direct mail, newspaper, radio ads, and posters. Reach Partners also helped with the Sanford logo and name launch in July 2010. Reach Partners coordinated the ordering, artwork approval, printing and distribution of t-shirts, lanyards and personalized jackets for 8,000 employees in the Fargo region. “We got it done in the most efficient way possible with the use of time that we had,” Hoffarth says. Another large-scale project for Sanford is coordinating the scheduling and carrying out of the production of 2-3 minute videos for all health system physicians for use on clinic websites. Reach Partners is working with clinic directors to schedule the video shoots. The project started in May of 2010 and is ongoing, getting through the scheduling of hundreds of physicians. “We’re there to support the work that is already being done. Someone who can focus on something is much more efficient than someone who is dealing with 100 things in a day,” Hoffarth says. “We’re not replacement staff, we’re additional people who provide support to what’s already being done.” Sanford Health (formerly MeritCare) has contracted with Reach Partners on special projects, small and large, from fall 2007 to present.
