Conference Management
When the office of North Dakota First Lady Mikey Hoeven launched a women’s health summit in Fargo, N.D. seven years ago, they contracted with Reach Partners, Inc. to plan and execute the event. Reach Partners planned the first event in 2005 and has planned the annual event ever since. The challenge was to plan a one-day health summit for 500 women in Fargo. The annual event includes three keynote speakers, four concurrent sessions and a vendor fair with 30 exhibitors.
Once the First Lady’s office determined the three national level keynote speakers, Reach Partners Inc. took over the planning and execution of the event. Reach Partners handled speaker management, including flights, contracts, accommodations and payment. Reach Partners managed the organization, marketing and promotion of the event, which included sending save-the-date postcards and invitations to a mailing list that Reach Partners also manages. All details, large and small, associated with the event’s planning are handled by Reach Partners. Reach Partners is committed to creating a welcoming event atmosphere and a smooth process of logistically moving 500 participants to where they need to be. Reach Partners takes care of the pieces that people don’t often notice – the details that people would notice if they weren’t finished. After the event, Reach Partners is responsible for tracking income and expenses for the event and generating invoices. The company also pulls together participant evaluations of the event and delivers a detailed report to the client. Reach Partners is committed to improving upon each event to make it absolutely the best it can be. Reach Partners also has coordinated dozens of events for Sanford Health, American Heart Association Go Red, Healthy North Dakota and North Dakota Cancer Coalition. Reach Partners has been involved with each event on a variety of levels, from taking on a small piece of the puzzle to coordinating the overall event. OTHER EXAMPLES OF EVENT MANAGEMENT
