I have to choose one word for the Women's Health Conference and Preview events, and it’s gratitude. Overwhelmingly women responded with positive affirmation, grateful they took the time to focus on their health and well-being. The exhibitors were grateful to share their passion, product and services.
Each of the speakers truly wanted to spend the day with the attendees. One in particular was emotional as the day came to a close. She is so passionate about her work and expressed her gratitude to share her knowledge, skill and love with others. Gratitude from partners to support a health and wellness conference for women to empower change. And lastly, the committee expressed gratitude for having a part in creating an amazing day. Anita

It’s marathon week and the start to a busy spring for Reach Partners. Best wishes to all those running and raising money for charity during the Fargo Marathon events. Be sure to look out for the “run for good” bibs on the backs of runners during on all the race courses. Rachel
We’ve all done it, it’s embarrassing for sure, it’s not good for you and you and I both know it’s gotta stop: sitting all day long, in one position at your desk at work. It’s now proven that our sedentary lifestyle has negative long term effects. Slow-to-no-moving lifestyle choices lead to the rise of chronic disease, which increases health care costs and effects productivity.
Reach Partners has been a long-time partner in the trainings and conferences offered to ND businesses to promote and build their own worksite wellness programs. The point is to influence the workplace, change the status-quo from hunching over a desk to increasing stand-up and walking meetings to ultimately change the overall health of the state and the entire country. Today, we want to influence you. Stand up. Right now. Move. It’s because we care about you and we know there’s hope: taking short mini-breaks can lower blood sugar and benefit your entire body. OK, get moving: Deskercise! 33 Smart Ways to Exercise at Work HR professionals and management who want to influence a healthy change within their corporate environment, instill practices that decrease chronic disease and pain and what is good for productivity may benefit from the following conference and training programs offered this spring. 2015 ND Worksite Wellness Summit West, Bismarck May 13, 2015 - Learn about the relationship between the work environment, employee health and company profitability, discover the six critical domains of brain health and cutting-edge research on the effects of exercise, and discuss effect of culture on the well-being of the workplace and team members. Gearing Up for Worksite Wellness, is a 2-day small-group workshop June 15 & 16, 2015 in Bismarck for HR, managers, worksite wellness coordinators to start, build and maintain a custom worksite wellness program for their business. Register and more information on worksite wellness. Now stand up. Move. Rachel, Reach Partners
Giving Hearts Day is Thursday, Feb 12, 2015 What is Giving Hearts Day? Dakota Medical Foundation and Impact Foundation jointly host this 24-hour online give-a-thon that has dramatically increased fundraising success by charities of North Dakota and western Minnesota. Giving Hearts Day started in 2008 as the region’s first one-day ‘virtual’ fundraising event. Today 200+ charities participate and raise millions of dollars. Make a donation.
You too can join a chorus of voices, and be apart of a flood of compassion, awareness and donations.Make a donation online for that 24-hour period of time – 200+ worthy charities. Give of your time. Consider giving your time to your favorite charity for Giving Hearts Day! Maybe your charity needs assistance prior to or on the day of –someone to hold a big sandwich board, jump in a freezing pool, make phone calls to remind donors to give, make deliveries, write thank yous or help staff address cards. In the coming days, call your favorite charity to learn how you can give of your time (and money) this Giving Hearts Day! Reach Partners has the supreme pleasure to work on projects with people with passion and expertise. One special project is the On the Minds of Mom’s Magazine event for the caregiver, otmomLIVE on Saturday, February 7, 2015. Co-owners and inspired moms, Sheri Kleinsasser Stockmoe and Dani Parkos Fluge have figured out how to provide a day for self-discovery, conversation, and humor including workshops celebrating Moms, promoting healthy perspectives on parenting and bust-a-gut Mommy Comic, Debi Gutierrez straight from LA. This is what I know: you’re worth it. I’m excited to hear all the speakers, workshops and see the day unfold. I’m confident you’ll enjoy it. More fun than a solo shopping trip and more perspective than a library full of parenting books, On the Minds of Moms is bringing to life all the things you love about the magazine in an event every mom deserves to experience. Enjoy an afternoon and evening of self-discovery, conversation, and humor in a LIVE event you didn’t know you needed.

We came to them with no idea how to engage a meaningful online conversation with the audience of the Women’s Health Conference, how to measure success (or failure) or focus our time and efforts. Whitney Nelson, Digital Marketing Strategist and Advanced Funnel Certified, changed all that with a clear road map for content and a schedule for execution. Onsharp truly delivers. This clarity and focus is a subject found in the first issue of the #ONcrew Insider, a newsletter that highlights Onsharp’s success. It describes the partnership and our tremendous success at engaging women and drawing the right people to our website.

We had a blast at the Women’s Health Conference. It's a pleasure to see planning and details come together for an enjoyable, inspirational experience for women.
All day we enjoyed a socially engaged audience. Women tweeted, posted images images and actively used the hashtag throughout the event. Many thanks to Onsharp for their help to create that opportunity. If ever you need help in planning and implementing social media strategies, we highly recommend the Onsharp approach.
